Oshi Ryokan is located at the bottow of the stairs leading up to
Hokosha, one of the main Shinto shrines of Togakushi. The main building of our
ryokan was constructed 250 years ago.
The architecture tells the long history of our inn and the thatched roof
matches the well maintained garden.
Oshi Ryokan was referred to as Enko-Bo or Kozen-In during the period
when both Buddhism and Shintoism were mixed in Togakushi.
By staying at Oshi Ryokan you will be able to see the traditional japanese
country way of life and experience the shinto spirituality.
